The Annual Father/Daughter Dance

Again, the date on the pictures is wrong. These were taken on 2/20/09

The night before we left for Florida Vince, Karlie and Rylie attended the Sweetheart dance at their school. This was the fourth time for Vince and Karlie and the first time for Rylie. And yes, Rylie had a black and blue eye to match her black and blue dress. (she had a fall earlier in the week)

A day in the life of Rylie when she's sick

She tries to play, takes out all her toys.......................

But she just doesn't have her usual energy, so she crashes in her toy box and sleeps there for hours.

So cute

Rylie's teacher sent a folder home with Karlie full of classwork for Rylie. In the folder were a whole bunch of hand made Get Well cards for Rylie. OMG, Rylie loved them! She just sat there looking at them and giggling all night. All of the kids drew rainbows and chocalate chip cookies on the cards. So cute!!!! I forgot to get a picture, so I'll get one tomorrow and post it. Rylie seems to be doing better.

Rylie's sick

On the ride home from Florida, Rylie and Cesalie developed a stomach virus. They both kept getting sick! Needless to say, it was a horrible ride home for everyone, but we made it home safe and sound. Cesalie got better pretty quickly after we got home. Rylie developed a fever that wouldn't break and yesterday she started walking funny(limping like Frankenstein). Vince took her over to the doctors last night and the doctor sent them to the emergency room. She suspected Rylie might of had an infection in her hip. Her x rays and bloodwork came back normal and they diagnosed her with PROBABLY having inflamation in the hip joint cause by a virus. They sent her home and said to follow up with her doctor today and keep giving her motrin along with plenty of rest.
Right now she is still limping, but her fever is gone. She is also eating a little bit and drinking plenty of fluids. The doctor said if she is still not walking right by tomorrow to bring her in and they might have to do some more testing. She slept almost all day so far, but right now at this very moment she is awake and singing.
